Extra-Long Commercial Vehicle Booster Cables

Extra-Long Commercial Vehicle Booster Cables are heavy-duty jumper cable assemblies for emergency battery starting on trucks, buses, commercial vans and fleet vehicles. The extended 20 ft, 25 ft and 30 ft lengths provide greater working reach when the battery and assisting power source are positioned farther apart.
The range includes 1 GA, 2 GA and 4 GA conductor options, with CCA and copper constructions available for selected specifications. Cable assemblies can be matched by conductor gauge, cable length, current rating, insulation and clamp construction.

20 ft
The 20 ft configuration provides additional reach for commercial vehicles requiring more cable length than standard passenger-vehicle assemblies.
25 ft
The 25 ft option extends the working range for larger vehicles and service conditions where the assisting power source needs to remain farther from the battery.
30 ft
The 30 ft configuration provides the longest standard length in this range and supports applications requiring greater positioning flexibility.
Cable Management
Longer cable assemblies require suitable storage and handling practices. Cable flexibility and insulation selection can be specified according to the intended operating environment.

1 GA
The 1 GA configuration provides a large conductor cross-section for heavy-duty starting applications. Current ratings of 330 A, 380 A and 410 A are listed for selected 20 ft, 25 ft and 30 ft configurations.
2 GA
Selected 2 GA constructions are available in 16 ft, 20 ft and 25 ft configurations with current ratings from 290 A to 350 A, depending on construction.
4 GA
Selected 4 GA configurations cover 16 ft, 20 ft and 25 ft lengths, with current ratings from 250 A to 450 A depending on conductor material and construction.
CCA or Copper
CCA provides a lighter conductor construction, while copper offers a different conductivity profile. Material selection should follow the required current rating, cable length and vehicle application.

PVC Insulation
PVC insulation is used across selected configurations with temperature ratings from -25°C to -42°C, depending on the cable construction.
Cable Diameter
Conductor size and insulation construction determine the finished cable diameter. Selected 1 GA configurations use approximately 12 mm finished outer diameter.
Polarity Identification
Red and black cables provide direct identification of positive and negative connections during battery starting.
Finished Assembly
Conductor, insulation, finished length and clamp connection are specified as one complete cable assembly for consistent purchasing and production control.

Copper-Plated Clamps
Copper-plated clamp constructions are available for selected cable assemblies and provide a conductive contact surface for battery terminal connection.
Insulated Clamps
Insulated clamp constructions provide an additional protective layer around the handle area during connection and removal.
Heavy-Duty Clamps
Selected 1 GA configurations use heavy-duty clamp constructions matched to the larger conductor size.
Cable Attachment
The cable-to-clamp connection is specified according to conductor size and clamp construction to maintain the required assembly configuration.

Heavy-Duty Trucks
The 20 ft to 30 ft range provides additional cable reach for truck battery starting where vehicle dimensions or battery position require greater working distance.
Buses
Longer assemblies accommodate larger vehicle layouts and provide additional reach between the battery and assisting power source.
